PowerKneel: The PowerKneel™ System gently lowers the rear of
the van, bringing the ramp angle to a mere nine degrees. Quick, quiet and
very low maintenance, VMI's electro-mechanical kneel is the strongest,
most durable in the industry -- perfect for everyday use. We have cycled
the PowerKneel 15,000 times without failure. "It will not break, PERIOD." AirKneel: Feel as if you're "riding on air." Our AirKneel™
system works the same way as the PowerKneel, but uses air bags rather than
springs. It features an added air cushion of support, plus automatic load
leveling, and is recommended for people who frequently travel with large
groups of family and friends or carry heavy loads. A small air compressor
is installed as a part of this conversion option.
Extra Removable Front Seat: Easy to take out and lock back into
place, our removable seats are built on bases with footrests, to simulate
the original floor height -- no dangling feet here. These bases include
rolling casters to make your seating options quick and simple. Removable Middle Quad Seats or Bench: Adding removable seats in
the middle area increases the choices for seating arrangements. This
arrangement comfortably seats seven, with accessible seating in any of the
front or middle areas. (Only available on the Summit and Trekker
Conversions.)
Keychain Remote Entry: The essence of convenience, this remote
control allows you to unlock the doors, open and close the power door,
kneel or raise the rear of the van and deploy the power ramp. Magnetic Entry: When touched against an area on the mini van's
taillight, this small magnet sets the van in motion. Whether it's opening
the door and lowering the ramp or raising the ramp and closing the door,
the magnetic entry is a very popular and inexpensive option. Key Switch Entry: Similar to the magnetic entry, this option
operates the door and ramp system by turning a key inserted into a lock in
the back passenger side of the van.
Sliding Rear Bench: This modification allows more storage space
in the back of the van. Slide the rear bench forward for seven cubic feet
more trunk space or back for more leg room. Lowered Drivers Side Sliding Door Sill: By lowering the door
sill on the drivers side sliding door, the floor is level all the way
across. This allows for easier entry and exit from the door opposite the
ramp.
Plus, VMI offers a full line of
